- Chesnuts!

1. Slice chesnuts across the top - breaking the shell without damaging beneath
2. Place chesnuts in a saucepan
3. Place over hot coals and cover with lid
4. Periodically check the chesnuts to ensure they are not burning and mix up regularly
5. Once roasted, take off heat and (carefully) remove the outer shell
