The new Kokoon Deluxe XL bell tent features higher walls & doors for a more spacious camping experience. Ideal for taller campers, with a 2m high door opening & an extra 20cm wall height compared to our original Kokoon Deluxe model.

Spacious, secure luxury camping with anti-mosquito protection – perfect for small families with young children or friends to get away! Made from sturdy 350gsm cotton canvas, the 4M Kokoon Bell Tent Deluxe XL includes a 500gsm PVC zipped-in PVC groundsheet and is waterproof and rot-proof. Deluxe extras include zip-up mesh backing to zip-up front doors, four mesh windows, mosquito net doors and A-Frame door support – everything you need to camp in style! The sides of this canvas tent can roll up, allowing fresh air to circulate on humid or hot summer days. This tent is also ideal for glamping, camp site touring, outdoor festivals and open-air events.

With room for up to 4 people, our 4M Kokoon Bell Tent Deluxe XL package includes ultra-thick pegs, poles, carry holdall, setting up instructions and can be assembled by a single person. It also has a chimney fitting to allow the use of a stove.

The 4m Kokoon Deluxe XL Bell tent has an easy access zip on the door and includes a zipped-in PVC groundsheet. A waterproof canvas flap is built in to cover the zips, ensuring it is fully waterproof.

In addition the sides of the bell tent also roll up to increase airflow on those hot days!

The tent comes complete with ultra-thick pegs, poles and groundsheet. Instructions for how to put up your bell tent will be sewn into the bag.

The beauty of having 100% cotton canvas is that it breathes. This enables you to keep heat in when it’s cold and when it’s hot it will stay cooler inside of the canvas. Only the finest quality canvas used, no polyester.

This 4m XL is an amazing compromise between a regular 4m bell (I’ve had 3 different ones over the years) and a 4x5m touareg I had.

I compared a lot of bell tents looking for the one with the best door height to reduce bending (I’m 5’7”/168cm tall and using for LARP so often wearing horns on top).

This 4m XL weighs in total what my touareg’s canvas weighed alone so splitting the poles and sometimes the groundsheet make it very manageable solo. The touareg’s canvas alone was a nightmare after wet events.

The increased height on the door and walls means the indoor space is much more flexible to use than a normal 4m bell. We were able to have two large camp beds (Outwell Posadas XL and a huge fishing carp bed) and an Vango Titan XL chair with plenty of space to get around.

Canvas is very white (not at all the common sand colour), chunky zips, great mesh doors with toggle tie backs – best I’ve used, nice bucket on the thick zip-in groundsheet, bigger mesh windows, sturdy grey poles and the A(ish)-frame actually slotted into its floor pouches properly. Nice brown guy ropes (I bought carabiners as I now prefer to remove them each time for better drying), good quality pegs.

Basically all the best quality versions of everything I’ve had from canvas tents over the years. Very happy.
